President Trump mentioned the purchase during his speech, but the claim has not been independently verified. General Motors, Cadillac's parent company, declined to comment on the transaction, and the White House has not confirmed the purchase. The starting price for a basic model of the Escalade is $91,100, which would amount to nearly $23 million for 250 vehicles.
