Delmarva Chicken Association Hosts 61st National Meeting on Poultry Health, Processing, and Live Production in Ocean City, Maryland
The Delmarva Chicken Association (DCA) is hosting its 61st National Meeting on Poultry Health, Processing, and Live Production in Ocean City, Maryland. The event has attracted over 430 attendees, including researchers, poultry professionals, government officials, and students. The conference agenda includes a full day of speakers and panel discussions focusing on poultry health and processing, followed by a day dedicated to live production, which covers on-farm skills and science for raising healthy poultry flocks. A new addition this year is a student poster session, where 19 students are presenting applied research on challenges facing the poultry industry, such as food safety, biosecurity, welfare, diagnostics, nutrition, emerging technologies, sustainability, and One Health.
