Texas Private Schools Opt Out of School Choice Vouchers, Impacting Enrollment Options
In Texas, more than 35,000 families have registered for school choice vouchers since the application window opened. These vouchers are part of a state initiative aimed at providing families with more educational options by subsidizing private school tuition. However, participation in the program is optional for private schools, and not all are choosing to accept the vouchers.
