The event took place at the college’s Midtown Center and extended along the Deuces Corridor, running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The celebration featured a variety of activities, including vendors, performers, and a block party, all open to the public free of charge. SPC Downtown/Midtown Center Provost, Keron Jean-Baptiste, highlighted the college's significant growth, noting its start in 1927 with 100 students and its current enrollment of over 30,000 students. Harold Simmons, a head custodian and performer at the event, emphasized the college's community-oriented spirit.
