Clearwater Police Conclude Investigation into Hulk Hogan's Death, Confirm Natural Causes
The Clearwater Police Department has concluded its investigation into the death of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, confirming that he died from natural causes. Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71. The police report, released recently, states that Hogan died from 'compelling natural disease.' The investigation, which lasted nearly a year, involved interviews with witnesses and a review of recordings. Hogan's wife, Sky Daily Hogan, made a 911 call reporting that he was not breathing, and attempts at CPR were made by a home health aide, his wife, and an occupational therapist before firefighters arrived. Hogan had been in poor health following a spinal fusion surgery and had undergone numerous surgeries over the years. He also had a recent heart procedure and was being treated for chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Additional health issues included pneumonia and kidney failure.
