Nearly 30,000 Pounds of Raw Beef Recalled in US Due to Inspection Lapse
Corte Argentino USA LLC has recalled approximately 29,628 pounds of raw beef imported from Argentina due to a failure in import reinspection. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) classified the recall as high-risk, indicating a potential health hazard. The beef, distributed in Florida and Texas, bypassed necessary safety checks, raising concerns about its safety. Consumers are advised to discard the affected products, which include various cuts of boneless beef, or return them for a refund.
