UNHCR Peru Seeks Partners for Socio-Economic Inclusion of Displaced People
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Peru has issued an open call for implementing partners to bolster protection, socio-economic inclusion, and durable solutions for refugees and other forcibly displaced individuals from 2027 to 2029. This initiative is part of UNHCR Peru's Multiyear Country Strategy and aims to address the ongoing challenges faced by displaced populations, particularly Venezuelans residing in urban areas. These challenges include barriers to documentation, informal employment, discrimination, and limited access to public services, which hinder their safety, self-reliance, and long-term stability. The selected partners will contribute to programs focused on strengthening access to documentation, legal protection, essential services, employment, social protection, and long-term local integration.
