South Korea Completes Development of First Indigenous Supersonic Fighter Jet KF-21
South Korea has completed the development of its first indigenous supersonic fighter jet, the KF-21 'Boramae', after approximately 10 years of system development. The project, led by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), involved extensive testing, including around 1,600 flight tests. The KF-21 has now entered the production and deployment phase, marking a significant milestone in South Korea's defense capabilities. The development involved collaboration with international partners, including Indonesia, and aims to enhance South Korea's military self-reliance.
