Mountain Top Hose Co. 1 Receives Grant for New Furnace from Congressman Rob Bresnahan
Mountain Top Hose Co. 1 has been awarded a $4,500 grant from U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan and his wife, Chelsea Bresnahan, through their Green Light Project. This grant, administered by The Luzerne Foundation, will be used to purchase a new furnace for the apparatus bay. The new furnace is expected to maintain a climate-controlled environment, which is crucial for prolonging the lifespan of the equipment and ensuring it remains operational in all weather conditions. This initiative is part of a broader effort to support local emergency services and improve their operational capabilities.
