Fall River Plans Arbor Day Celebration with Free Trees and Activities
Fall River is set to celebrate Arbor Day with a community event at Britland Park on April 25. The event, which is free and family-friendly, will feature an Arbor Day proclamation by Mayor Paul Coogan, tree-planting demonstrations, and information sessions on the benefits of urban trees. Attendees can receive free saplings, including white flowering dogwood and red maple, while supplies last. The celebration will also include a community cleanup, a wildlife nature walk, and various activities provided by the Fall River Public Library Bookmobile and The Trustees' Mobile Adventure Van.
