New Hay Study Hub Opens to Enhance Regional Workforce Development
A new study hub has been established in Hay, New South Wales, co-located with the TAFE NSW Connected Learning Centre. This initiative, supported by the Australian Government and the NSW Government, aims to provide high-speed internet, dedicated study spaces, and academic support to students in regional areas. The Hay centre is part of a network that has supported around 7,000 students since 2017, focusing on building a skilled workforce in health, education, and community services. The centre facilitates greater participation in higher education among underrepresented groups, offering pathways for students balancing work and family commitments.
