Ukrainian Drone Strike Causes Major Fire at Russian Oil Refinery
Ukrainian forces have struck the Tuapse oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, causing a significant fire at the facility. The attack, confirmed by Ukraine's General Staff, targeted the tank farm and resulted in one reported casualty. This marks the second strike on the refinery within a week, following a similar attack on April 16. The Tuapse refinery, operated by Rosneft, is one of Russia's largest, with a capacity of refining 12 million tons of crude oil annually. The strike is part of Ukraine's broader strategy to target Russian oil infrastructure, aiming to reduce the Kremlin's revenue from oil exports.
