Qatar Airways Expands to South America with New Routes to Caracas and Bogotá
Qatar Airways has announced the launch of new flight services to Caracas, Venezuela, and Bogotá, Colombia, starting July 22, 2026. This expansion marks the airline as the first Gulf carrier to operate in Venezuela and the first to connect the Middle East with both Colombia and Venezuela through scheduled services. The new routes will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays, with flights departing from Doha to Bogotá and then continuing to Caracas. The return flights from Caracas to Doha will be non-stop. This move is part of Qatar Airways' broader strategy to enhance its global network, aiming to serve over 160 destinations worldwide by the summer of 2026.
