Florida Ranks Third for Summer Road Trips, Highlighting Infrastructure and Services
A recent study by the law firm Steel Adams Hosman has ranked Florida as the third-best state in the U.S. for summer road trips. The study evaluated states based on several metrics, including road quality, the number of auto repair shops, road fatalities, and other factors. Florida achieved a total score of 70.45, placing it just behind Maryland and New Jersey, which scored 74.13 and 83, respectively. The study highlights Florida's high-quality infrastructure, with 87% of its roads rated as 'acceptable.' Additionally, the state offers significant support for motorists, with 79.91 auto repair shops and 42.68 gas stations per 1,000 kilometers. Florida also provides ample opportunities for outdoor recreation, featuring 1.37 National Park Service campgrounds for every 10,000 kilometers.
