The incident involved two bomb threats called into the Thornton City Pool and the Margaret Carpenter Recreation Center. Law enforcement responded promptly, evacuating both locations and conducting thorough searches with the help of explosives detection K9s from various agencies. No suspicious items were found, and the areas were cleared by 5 p.m. The suspect, Lane Moreau, was identified and arrested within 30 minutes of the second threat, highlighting the efficiency of the response team.
