WhatsApp Tests New Animated Chat Themes on Android to Enhance User Experience
WhatsApp is currently testing a new feature for its Android users that introduces animated chat themes. This development is part of a broader effort to expand customization options within the app. The new themes are categorized into three distinct groups: Featured, Doodle, and Minimal. The Featured category is particularly notable for its animated wallpapers that move slowly in the background, designed to enhance the visual experience without distracting users from their conversations. The Doodle category offers classic WhatsApp doodle wallpapers, while the Minimal category provides simple, distraction-free backgrounds. These themes are designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring that text remains readable against the chosen backgrounds. The feature is still under development and has not yet been released for beta testing.
