Lexington House Fire Displaces Five Residents, Investigation Underway
A house fire in Lexington, Kentucky, has displaced five people, according to the Lexington Fire Department. The incident occurred on Wednesday night at a residence on the 170 block of Old Park Avenue near Woodland Park. Fire crews were dispatched at 7:51 p.m. and upon arrival, they upgraded the situation to a working structure fire due to visible smoke and flames. The fire, which spread from its point of origin to adjacent rooms, has since been extinguished. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Fire officials are currently investigating the cause and origin of the fire, but have not yet determined whether the residence is a total loss.
