Unlimited Technology Systems Data Breach Exposes 3.8 Million Records
Unlimited Technology Systems, a U.S. healthcare software provider, has reported a significant data breach affecting 3.8 million individuals. The breach, which occurred in October 2025, involved unauthorized access to sensitive personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, and medical data. The company disclosed the breach in July 2026, revealing that the compromised data also included insurance details, policy numbers, and patient intake forms. While the breach did not involve complete medical records or financial information, the scale of the incident makes it the largest healthcare data breach reported to regulators this year. Following the breach, Unlimited Technology Systems engaged a forensic security firm and notified law enforcement to investigate the incident.
