Austin Police Arrest Six in Mail Theft and Fraud Investigation, Recover Stolen Sports Memorabilia
Austin police have arrested six individuals as part of an investigation into an organized criminal operation involving mail theft, identity fraud, narcotics offenses, and firearms violations. The arrests were made following the discovery of a stolen motorcycle and counterfeit U.S. Postal Service 'Arrow Keys' at a business on Reinli Street. The investigation led officers to an apartment on Alpheus Avenue, where they found stolen mail, bank cards, fraudulent identification cards, and sports memorabilia. The suspects, including Thaddeus Landeros, David Galvan, and Dylan Mackey, face charges ranging from evading arrest to possession of controlled substances. The police are seeking public assistance in identifying the owners of the recovered sports memorabilia.
