Indiana State Department of Agriculture Launches Annual Photo Contest to Celebrate State's Agricultural Heritage
The Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) is hosting its 19th annual agriculture photo contest throughout June, inviting residents of Indiana to submit photographs that capture the essence of the state's agricultural landscape, farmers, and rural traditions. The contest is designed to recognize the hard work and contributions of Hoosier farmers and to celebrate the beauty of Indiana's agricultural environment. Participants can submit photos in four categories: On the Farm, Faces of Agriculture, Agritourism, and Conservation. A total of ten winners will be selected, including two from each category and two overall winners. These winners will be honored at a special ceremony during the Indiana State Fair and will have their photos displayed in the offices of the Lt. Governor’s Family of Business in Indianapolis. The contest aims to showcase the diversity and richness of Indiana agriculture, as emphasized by Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith and ISDA Director Don Lamb.
