Texas Mural Unveiled to Honor Druze and Iranian Children Affected by Iranian Regime
A mural titled 'WOMAN. LIFE. FREEDOM.' was unveiled in Webster, Texas, by Iranian-American artist Hooman Khalili. The artwork honors Druze and Iranian children who were victims of violence by the Iranian regime and its proxies. The mural, located near Houston, depicts children on a soccer field, symbolizing innocence lost due to ideological violence. It includes the stories of 12 Druze children killed by a Hezbollah rocket in Majdal Shams, Israel, and Iranian children who died during regime crackdowns since 2022. Khalili aims to draw international attention to these tragedies as the FIFA World Cup approaches, hoping the mural will highlight the humanity of the victims.
