Russian Military Intelligence Deputy Chief Shot in Moscow Amid Rising Tensions
Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseyev, a deputy chief of Russian military intelligence, was shot and wounded in Moscow. The attack occurred at an apartment building in the northwest of the city. Alekseyev, who has been serving as the first deputy head of Russia's military intelligence since 2011, was hospitalized following the incident.
