U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is actively recruiting for an Immigration Services Assistant (Office Automation) position. This role is based in Lees Summit, MO, or Overland Park, KS, and is designed to support the Adjudication Services Process. The successful candidate will assist Immigration Officers by managing files, databases, and correspondence, conducting security checks, researching and analyzing data, and preparing reports. The position also involves providing direct customer service. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Nationals, pass a background investigation and drug screening, and, if male and born after December 31, 1959, be registered with the Selective Service. The vacancy is limited to the first 150 applications received, or until the closing date of October 16, 2026, whichever comes first. This role is considered 'essential' for reporting to work even if the facility is otherwise closed.
