NRA Files Amicus Brief in Maryland Supreme Court Case on Out-of-State Carry Permits
The National Rifle Association (NRA), along with several other organizations, has filed an amicus brief urging the Maryland Supreme Court to review a case challenging the state's refusal to recognize carry permits issued by other jurisdictions. The case, Duvall v. State of Maryland, questions the legality of Maryland's stance on out-of-state carry permits. The NRA is joined by the Second Amendment Foundation, Maryland Shall Issue, California Rifle & Pistol Association, Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus, Second Amendment Law Center, Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and the Cato Institute in this legal effort. This move is part of a broader strategy by the NRA to influence gun legislation and uphold Second Amendment rights across the United States.
