Drexel University Libraries to Host Exhibit on National Anniversaries Featuring Atwater Kent Collection
Drexel University Libraries, Collections & Archives, in collaboration with Toni Pitock, PhD, Department of History (College of Arts & Sciences), and the Atwater Kent Collection at Drexel, will host a special exhibit titled 'Exploring National Anniversaries Through the Atwater Kent Collection at Drexel.' This exhibit, supported by Campus250, is a student-curated display created by students in Dr. Pitock’s History of Philadelphia courses. Students Kat McKeown and Sophia Stutte curated the exhibit, which features objects from the 1876 Centennial, 1926 Sesquicentennial, and 1976 Bicentennial. The exhibit includes excerpts from student assignments, related artifacts, and an interactive component designed to prompt visitor reflection. It will be open to the public from May 29 to November 13, 2026, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the W. W. Hagerty Library, 3300 Market Street, Drexel University.
