Taylor Farms Recalls Jalapeño Products Amid Salmonella Outbreak
Taylor Farms has initiated a recall of over a dozen jalapeño-containing products from grocery stores across 26 states due to a salmonella outbreak. The affected items include dips, salsas, and guacamole sold at major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Whole Foods. The recall follows a cyclosporiasis outbreak linked to Taylor Farms, with jalapeños sourced from Coast Citrus Distributors in Sinaloa, Mexico identified as the contamination source.
