IDF Confirms Success of Airstrikes on Hezbollah, Eliminating Key Commanders
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the successful execution of extensive airstrikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon, as part of 'Operation Eternal Darkness.' The strikes, conducted on April 8th, resulted in the elimination of over 250 Hezbollah terrorists, including senior commanders responsible for the group's operational systems. The operation targeted Hezbollah's command and control infrastructure across Beirut, the Beqaa, and southern Lebanon. Among those killed were Hassan Mustafa Nasser, Ali Qassem, Abu Ali Abbas, Ali Hijazi, and Abu Muhammad Habib, who played significant roles in logistics, intelligence, and missile operations. The IDF continues to assess battle damage and identify additional operatives.
