Pope Leo Sends Generators and Medical Supplies to Ukraine Amid Winter Attacks
Pope Leo XIV has dispatched 80 electric generators and thousands of medical supplies to Ukraine to assist civilians facing harsh winter conditions and ongoing attacks. The Vatican announced that the aid was sent in response to appeals from bishops concerned about the impact of Russia's attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. The supplies, which include antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, and melatonin, have been delivered to areas heavily affected by recent strikes, such as Fastiv and Kyiv. The Vatican is preparing additional shipments of medicine and food, coordinated through parish networks across Ukraine.
