A Naga delegation will visit Oxford in November for a handover ceremony, with the remains expected to arrive in Nagaland before the end of the year for a traditional community ceremony in Kohima. Naga anthropologist Prof. Dolly Kikon initiated the negotiations in 2020 after reading an article about the museum's ethical review of its collection.
