United Airlines Flight Diverted Due to Unruly Passenger, Ensuring Passenger Safety
A United Airlines flight from Chicago to Minneapolis was diverted to Madison, Wisconsin, on Friday night due to an unruly passenger. The incident occurred on United flight 2005, a Boeing 737-900 carrying 147 passengers and six crew members. According to a United Airlines spokesperson, the flight landed safely in Madison to address a security concern involving the passenger. Law enforcement officials on board quickly restrained the individual, and deputies from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office removed the passenger upon landing. Federal authorities are now handling the investigation. No injuries were reported, and the flight continued to its destination, arriving in Minneapolis early Saturday morning.
