Ohio Agriculture Center Opens to Enhance Agricultural Education and Innovation
Governor Mike DeWine and First Lady Fran DeWine have inaugurated the new Ohio Agriculture Center, a significant development ahead of the 2026 Ohio State Fair. The 177,000-square-foot facility, presented by Nationwide, consolidates various agriculture-related exhibits and attractions under one roof, replacing the former Ohio Building and the Ag & Hort Building. The center features the imAGine Ag Exhibit, which highlights modern farming technology, the Taste of Ohio Café offering local foods and beverages, and the Ohio Proud Showcase with cooking demonstrations and educational exhibits. The OVMA Animal Life & Learning Center provides visitors with insights into livestock care. This initiative is part of a broader modernization effort at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds, supported by the Ohio General Assembly, which includes new buildings, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
