Person Found Shot Near Sacramento County Paint Supply Store, Investigation Underway
A person was found with at least one gunshot wound Monday morning near a paint supply store in Sacramento County. The incident was initially reported to deputies around 8:30 a.m. as a vehicle collision along Fulton Avenue near Edison Avenue, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. However, upon arrival, deputies discovered that the initial report of a collision was unsubstantiated. Instead, they found a person who had been shot. The individual, who was reportedly walking in the area completely covered and wearing a ski mask, was transported to a local hospital. Their current condition remains unknown. The person has not provided investigators with any information regarding the incident, including why they were in the area or a description of any potential suspects. Crime scene tape was observed blocking off the parking lot of Jerry's Paint & Supply Inc., where several deputies were present.
