Over 140 Seek Medical Assistance During Banana Ball Event at Albertsons Stadium
During a Banana Ball event at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho, more than 140 individuals required medical assistance over a seven-hour period. The event, which took place on a Friday night, saw about seven people transported to local hospitals. The Boise Police, Boise Fire, Ada County Paramedics, and the Boise State Department of Public Safety coordinated efforts to provide on-site treatment and resources for those in need. The high number of medical calls was attributed to the heat conditions, prompting organizers to advise attendees to take precautions such as staying hydrated and using cooling towels. Additional measures, including more tents and shade, as well as free water stations, were planned for the following day's event.
