National MS Society Launches $1 Billion Campaign to End MS, Raises $12 Million at Gala
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society has initiated a five-year, $1 billion Campaign to End MS, marking its most ambitious effort in its 80-year history. The campaign officially launched with a day of events in New York City, culminating in a gala at Cipriani 42nd Street. This event successfully raised over $12 million towards advancing MS research. The campaign aims to accelerate research breakthroughs, enhance access to care and support for individuals living with MS, and ultimately work towards a future free of the disease. Nearly 500 guests attended the gala, which featured prominent advocates and supporters, including Jack Osbourne, and honored singer David Osmond and his family for their commitment to the MS community. The day also included a national research symposium, 'Big Bets for Breakthroughs,' where leading researchers discussed strategies to stop MS progression, restore function, and prevent the disease.
