Governor Matt Meyer Honors 10 Delawareans with the Order of the First State
Governor Matt Meyer has recognized ten individuals with the Order of the First State, Delaware’s highest civilian honor. This award acknowledges exceptional service, leadership, and achievements that have significantly impacted the state and its residents. Among the honorees are former 6th District Senator Ernie Lopez, who served in the State Senate from 2012 to 2022, and Richard Garrett, Executive Director of the Children’s Beach House.
