Albino Buffalo in Bangladesh Spared from Sacrifice After Government Intervention
A rare albino buffalo in Bangladesh, nicknamed 'Donald Trump' for its distinctive blond tuft, has been saved from sacrifice during Eid al-Adha following a government intervention. The buffalo, weighing nearly 700 kg, had been sold for ritual slaughter when authorities stepped in due to security concerns and public interest. Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed ordered the buffalo to be spared, refunded the buyer, and relocated the animal to the national zoo in Dhaka. The buffalo gained nationwide attention after videos of it went viral, attracting crowds to the farm where it was kept.
