International Trade Centre Seeks Translators for Iraq's WTO Accession Legal Documents
The International Trade Centre (ITC) has issued a request for quotations for professional translation and interpretation services. The organization is seeking Arabic-to-English translators for legal documents pertinent to Iraq's World Trade Organization (WTO) accession process. This initiative falls under the JOBS project, where the ITC is providing support to Iraq through its technical and politically sensitive accession procedure. This process involves multilateral, plurilateral, and bilateral negotiations with existing WTO members. Given that Arabic is not an official language of the WTO, all documents prepared by Iraq for its accession must be translated into English. Interested service providers are required to submit their quotations by October 4, 2026. The contact for submissions is breimao@intracen.org. This effort is crucial for Iraq to meet the linguistic requirements for its integration into the global trade body.
