Oregon Wildfires Burn 1.44 Million Acres Amid Extreme Weather Conditions
Oregon is currently experiencing severe wildfire conditions, with 1.44 million acres burned across the state. State fire officials are urging residents and visitors to exercise caution as extreme fire weather persists, with more wind events anticipated. Approximately 12,417 personnel are engaged in combating 34 large fires, with additional support from local and agency government employees, landowners, and community members.
