Chicago Welcomes Summer with Pop-Up Dining Events and BBQ Series
Chicago is embracing the summer season with a variety of pop-up dining events and outdoor culinary experiences throughout June. Highlights include the Sunday BBQ Series at Sportsman’s Club in Ukrainian Village, featuring barbecue fare from local restaurants like Maxwell’s Trading, Creepies, and Boeufhaus. The series runs every Sunday from 4-7 p.m. through September 27. Additionally, the city will host the James Beard Foundation Awards, bringing chefs and bartenders from across the country to showcase their talents. Other notable events include the Chicago Cocktail Classic, featuring over 30 bars from around the world, and the Up South Pop-Up, which celebrates South Side culinary excellence with smoked desserts and barbecue.
