Argentina-Brazil Trade Reaches $2.569 Billion in July Amidst Deficit Reduction
In July 2026, trade between Argentina and Brazil amounted to $2.569 billion, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of 6.4%. Despite this decline, Argentine exports to Brazil increased for the fifth consecutive month, totaling $1.153 billion, a 4.7% rise from the previous year. However, imports from Brazil fell by 13.9%, amounting to $1.416 billion. This resulted in a trade deficit for Argentina of $262 million in July. Cumulatively, for the first seven months of 2026, Argentina's trade deficit with Brazil was significantly reduced by approximately 64% compared to the same period in 2025.
