Thurman Cafe Fire Causes Significant Damage, No Injuries Reported
The Thurman Cafe, a popular restaurant in German Village, Columbus, caught fire on Sunday afternoon, resulting in significant damage but no reported injuries. The Columbus Division of Fire responded to the blaze, containing it by 3 p.m. Firefighters had to cut holes in the roof for ventilation, and the interior of the restaurant suffered substantial damage. The front window was broken and hanging from the frame. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and crews remain on the scene to ensure the fire is completely extinguished. The Thurman Cafe is well-known for its large burgers, which have been featured on television shows like Man V. Food.
