Mansfield Launches Survey for Community Input on New Public Pool Feasibility
The City of Mansfield, Ohio, is seeking community input on the potential development of a new public pool. In partnership with Counsilman-Hunsaker & Associates Inc., an aquatics consulting firm, the city has launched an online survey to gather residents' opinions. The survey aims to assess community needs, priorities, and expectations for a public pool, which will inform planning, design, and long-term decision-making. Mike Woogerd, the parks superintendent, emphasized the importance of public spaces reflecting community values and encouraged residents to participate. The study will evaluate community demand, potential amenities, site considerations, and preliminary cost estimates for constructing and operating the pool.
