INISA Initiatives Sahel Program Opens Grant Applications for Civil Society Organizations in West Africa
The INISA Initiatives Sahel program has opened applications for grants of up to €20,000 to support civil society organizations (CSOs) in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, and Senegal. This program, established by the Government of the Principality of Monaco through its Directorate of International Cooperation, in partnership with the International Social Service – West Africa, aims to strengthen the capacity, reach, and sustainability of local CSOs. The grants are intended for locally impactful projects addressing a wide range of social, economic, environmental, and community challenges. Eligible project themes include women’s empowerment, agriculture, education, child protection, entrepreneurship, social inclusion, climate adaptation, environmental protection, peacebuilding, and social cohesion. Applications must be submitted online by August 23, 2026, for projects with a duration of up to 12 months.
