Rockford Police Seize Drugs, Arrest Man During Traffic Stop
Rockford, Illinois, police arrested Jzeaon Aldridge, 22, after seizing a significant quantity of drugs during a traffic stop on Sunday night. Officers from the Specialized Community Oriented Police Enforcement (SCOPE) team stopped a vehicle near E. State Street and Madison around 11:42 p.m. During the stop, authorities discovered 75 grams of cannabis, over 4 grams of crack cocaine, and ecstasy in Aldridge's possession, who was a rear passenger in the vehicle. Aldridge was subsequently arrested and faces multiple charges, including possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of ecstasy with intent to deliver, possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, and resisting arrest. He has been booked into the Winnebago County Jail and is awaiting a pretrial detention hearing.
