Justice Department Enlists Former Trump Lawyer for Investigation into John Brennan
Joseph diGenova, a former attorney for President Trump, has been appointed by the Justice Department to join an investigation into former CIA Director John Brennan. DiGenova will be working in the Southern District of Florida, specifically in Fort Pierce, where a grand jury is set to conduct a broad investigation into a possible conspiracy involving former law enforcement and intelligence officials targeting Trump. This development follows the removal of a Miami federal prosecutor who had resisted pressure to bring charges against Brennan. DiGenova, who previously served as the US Attorney for the District of Columbia, was part of Trump's legal team during the Mueller investigation but continued as an outside legal adviser.
