Tesla Self-Driving Mode Incident Results in Vehicle Split in Issaquah
In Issaquah, Washington, a Tesla vehicle operating in full self-driving mode was involved in a crash near Issaquah Valley Middle School. The incident resulted in the rear third of the Tesla being severed from the rest of the vehicle. According to the Issaquah Police Department, the Tesla swerved into oncoming traffic, leading to the crash. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The police emphasized that despite the presence of self-driving technology, drivers remain responsible for the safe operation of their vehicles.
