Strong Storms and Heavy Rain to Impact Central Florida Through Weekend
Central Florida is set to experience an active weather pattern over the next several days, with heavy rain and thunderstorms expected to persist through the weekend. A stalled cold front over Florida is contributing to increased rain and storm activity, with some areas likely to see heavy downpours. Thursday will bring widespread showers and storms, with afternoon highs reaching the upper 80s°F (31°C). Overnight, warm and muggy conditions will persist, with lows in the upper 70s°F (around 25°C). The unsettled weather will continue into Friday and the weekend, with additional moisture fueling more rain and thunderstorms. Highs are expected to range from the upper 80s°F (31°C) to low 90s°F (32-33°C) through Sunday. Early next week, rain chances will begin to decrease slightly, with temperatures climbing back into the mid-90s°F (35°C).
