ITU and UNDP Launch Free Online Course on Responsible Digital Transformation
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have announced a free, four-week online course titled 'Responsible Digital Transformation: Impact Assessments for AI and Data Governance'. This course aims to equip policymakers and practitioners with practical tools to assess the human rights, social, and governance implications of artificial intelligence and data-driven public services. The course, supported by the European Union's Global Gateway strategy, will run from October 6 to October 27, 2026, and is designed for those involved in digital transformation, AI governance, and public services. Participants will learn to develop impact assessments and mitigation plans for real-world digital governance scenarios.
