Father Dies Saving Children from Drowning Off Florida Coast
Ryan Jennings, a 46-year-old father from North Yarmouth, Maine, tragically died while saving his son and daughter from drowning off the coast of Juno Beach, Florida. On April 1, Jennings was swimming with his 12-year-old son, Jax, and 9-year-old daughter, Charlie, when they were caught in a rip current. Jennings managed to push his son to safety and held his daughter above water until help arrived. Despite efforts by local lifeguards and emergency responders, Jennings was unconscious and unresponsive when pulled from the water and was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
