Etihad Airways and Africa World Airlines Partner to Enhance Ghana and West Africa Connectivity
Etihad Airways and Africa World Airlines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing connectivity between the UAE, Ghana, and West Africa. The agreement, signed in Accra, covers codeshare and interline cooperation, cargo connectivity, and frequent flyer programs. This partnership will allow passengers to book journeys on a single ticket beyond Accra and access Africa World Airlines' network across West Africa. In return, Africa World Airlines' customers will gain improved access to Etihad's global network. The collaboration also extends to cargo operations, potentially benefiting Ghanaian exporters by providing access to Etihad Cargo's international freight capacity.
